About FS 1st Aid Training

Hi I’m Frances Stokesberry from FS 1st Aid Training based in Swindon, Wiltshire.

I am a qualified First Aid Trainer; I am fully insured and am part of the Skillbase Instructor Network which means I follow strict regulations to ensure I stay up to date with current legislation and provide appropriate training to my clients.

I have over 25 years’ experience coaching people of all ages, children and adults, which has allowed me to develop my training methods to suit a variety of different learning needs.

My aim is Inspiring Confidence to ensure everyone who attends my courses goes away feeling confident they can handle any first aid emergency.

Whatever your first aid training needs I aim to accommodate, whether individuals or groups from businesses needing to gain a first aid qualification or complete a refresher course.

My back ground before training first aid is in equestrianism, a high risk industry where I have seen, dealt with and experienced a range of accidents over the years. I have been a qualified first aider and an equestrian coach for over 25 years. I have worked for apprenticeship training providers training apprentices and managing and training a team of coaches for 11 years. This has given me the ability to tailor my training sessions to the individuals I am working with and accommodate different learning styles and needs.

I have my NEBOSH General Certificate (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) so have a very good understanding of the risks and potential accidents that may occur in a variety of settings to ensure your training is relevant to your individual workplace settings.

I am trained in safeguarding and have an enhanced DBS so can train in nursery, child care and school settings.

I now deliver courses to children from the ages of 3 years upwards with resources specifically designed to encourage engagement and learning. Check out the Mini Heroes page for details.
